FleishmanHillard presents masterclass on EU decision making
FleishmanHillard senior adviser Martin Bresson will, in conjunction with the Public Affairs Council and their managing director András Baneth, be presenting a masterclass on the intricacies of EU decision making.
The training – entitled “EU Decision-Making Master Class: Ordinary Procedure, Trilogues and Comitology” – will aim to guide EU public affairs professionals, through the practical aspects of EU decision-making vis-à-vis the European Parliament and European Commission and what to expect legislatively (policy-wise and procedurally) between now and 2019.
Key topics include:
- Decision-making inside the European Commission, Council and Parliament
- Trilogues: Timeline, participants, information sources and lobbying
- Regulatory implementing and delegated acts (“comitology”) in practice
- Mapping stakeholders and developing an advocacy strategy
