Fleishman-Hillard Wins EU Consultancy of Year 2012

Fleishman-Hillard in Brussels has been named as European Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year at the 2012 European Public Affairs Awards. The award was presented to Michelle Gibbons, Deputy Managing Director of Fleishman-Hillard in Brussels and EMEA chair of the FH Public Affairs Practice Group, at a gala event in Brussels on Wednesday 14 November 2012.

Now in their fifth year the awards highlight success and encourage best practice throughout the European public affairs community; bringing recognition to individuals, organisations, issues and campaigns. They are organised by Dods in partnership with Public Affairs News and the Parliament Magazine.

Michelle Gibbons said “We are delighted that our clients saw fit to nominate us for the award and that the wider public affairs community in Brussels chose to recognise us. We would like to thank the clients who trust us on a daily basis to deliver upon their objectives. This award is as much for them as it is for us.”

Fleishman-Hillard won the Consultancy of the Year award after being nominated by a client, shortlisted by an expert panel of judges and having received the most support from the thousands of members of the Brussels public affairs community eligible to vote.

Caroline Wunnerlich, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Fleishman-Hillard in Brussels said “After recent awards at a global and EMEA level, 2012 has been in a fantastic year for Fleishman-Hillard’s public affairs practice here in Brussels and around the world.”

In recent months Fleishman-Hillard’s public affairs strength in the Brussels marketplace has been heralded by leading industry publication the Holmes Report. Fleishman-Hillard was named first EMEA and then Global Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year for 2012.
