Public affairs and communications expert, Máximo Miccinilli supports clients on energy, climate and transport policy, leading the office’s energy and climate team. He also provides expertise in industrial and competitiveness policy and leads sustainability programmes. Before joining the company in 2021, he led CERRE’s Think-Tank Energy and Climate research team with multiple contributions on carbon markets, electricity and gas regulation, liquid fuels, renewables policy, electric vehicles, state aid guidelines, EU energy governance, taxonomy and carbon border adjustment mechanism models. His broad experience includes national and EU administration roles (Italian government and European Commission), strategic consulting, and association’s public affairs leadership and campaigner position (European Aluminium). He speaks English, Italian, Spanish and French.
