FleishmanHillard will be hosting German Pirate Party MEP Julia Reda for a discussion on copyright reforms on Friday 30 September, organised in partnership with the European Tech Alliance.
The Greens/EFA Vice President has become well known for her strong views on copyright. These have been reflected in her report last year as rapporteur on the review of the Copyright Directive.
The European Tech Alliance is group of fast-growing tech companies that have been built in Europe. They believe Europe is good at tech, and the sector is already contributing enormously to the economy both in terms of driving investment and creating highly skilled jobs. The want to use their collective experience to feed into the push to strengthen Europe’s digital economy.
The Roundtable will be held at our offices 2nd floor, 35 Square de Meeus. the objective is to have a frank discussion (under Chatham House Rules) where the group can share ideas and learn more about the issues the reforms will focus on.
