Brussels, 4 September 2012 – International communications consultancy Fleishman-Hillard has appointed Martin Bresson as Senior Policy Adviser to the firm’s financial services practice.
Martin Bresson joined Fleishman-Hillard as Senior Policy Adviser on 3 September from the Permanent Representation of Denmark to the EU. Bresson served as Counsellor on financial services during the Danish Presidency of the EU. From 2003 to 2011, he was Head of Division at the Danish Ministry of Business and Economics.
He has significant experience in both public and private sectors, having previously advised the Copenhagen-based industry association Bryggeriforeningen as a consultant. A lawyer by training, he also has considerable academic experience, having been Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of Copenhagen University from 1988 to 1997.
Bresson joins Fleishman-Hillard’s 20-strong financial services team in Brussels supporting the firm’s extensive portfolio of global financial services clients.
