Public affairs specialist Aaron McLoughlin focuses on legislative affairs and product defence, as well as leads the office’s chemicals and environment team. Previously, he served as head of the World Wildlife Fund’s European Marine Programme. He holds a law degree and speaks English and French. He also worked for two Members of European Parliament and helped with the European Commission’s implementation of air quality and waste electronics legislation. Aaron is currently on secondment with CEFIC, the European Chemicals Industry Council, as their Executive Director of Public Affairs.
