NGO Climate and Energy Priorities: 2013 and Beyond
On Wednesday 31 October 2012 Fleishman-Hillard Brussels hosts a luncheon on ‘NGO priorities in the fields of Climate and Energy: 2013 and Beyond’.
Three NGO climate and energy experts, Mark Johnston, Senior Policy Adviser at the WWF European Policy Office, Tom Brookes, Director of the Energy Strategy Center, the communications unit of the European Climate Foundation, and Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Associate at E3G, an independent not-for-profit organisation, will join the roundtable panel discussion as guest speakers. The event will be moderated by James Stevens, Senior Vice President and Partner at Fleishman-Hillard Brussels.
Our panel, under Chatham House rules, will present the NGO outlooks on Europe’s future climate and energy policies beyond 2013. With the on-going debate about how to balance Europe’s ambitious approach towards climate and energy goals, our speakers will reflect on a variety of questions, including transitioning to and financing a low-carbon economy, Europe’s future energy mix and the conditions needed to meet 2050 targets, and engage with other participants on solutions to some of the challenges Europe faces today.
