Digital Tools in Political Campaigns
On Monday 29 October 2012 Fleishman-Hillard Brussels hosts a lunch round table on the use of digital tools in political campaigning.
The event will be led by Bill Black, chair of Fleishman-Hillard’s global public affairs practice. Bill has been active in and around policy-making in Washington D.C. for more than 20 years, including as chief of staff to various high profile House Democrats.
Bill will provide insights into the current U.S. Presidential campaign, what role digital tools are playing and the impressive and yet little-known evolution that has taken place since 2008. In particular, he will address the importance of targeted campaigning through web-based tools and what possibilities this offers political candidates.
Following Bill’s presentation, Steffen Thejll-Moller, Digital Public Affairs Strategist at Fleishman-Hillard in Brussels, will provide insights into how organisations can use the same principles in their regular advocacy and communications work in Brussels. This lunch round table will take place under Chatham House rules.
While the event is free to attend, participant numbers are limited. For registration and further information please contact: Vassia Popova, [email protected] or call +32 2 235 2880.
