Robert Wright

Robert Wright helps lead the EU-wide Public Affairs practice in FleishmanHillard Brussels office, working on a range of issues across environment, chemicals and energy policies as well as adding to the team’s existing senior expertise on key topics including Brexit.

Robert is an Irish national with 25 years of experience in public policy and public affairs. He has worked in several roles across the public affairs spectrum. He has worked for the European Commission as Administrator of the EU Ecolabel Consultation Forum before moving into the EU Public Affairs consultancy world, after which he also acted as Advisor to European Commissioner Margot Wallstrom. Since then he has worked as Director, Senior Director and VP levels at Intel Corporation, in the Solar Energy Sector and OSI Systems. Furthermore, he has extensive Industry Association experience having worked as head of industry associations in the oil and gas, biofuels and the lifts/buildings sector.
