ABOUT THE JOB

FleishmanHillard’s Brussels office is seeking a Graduate Intern to support its Energy, Climate and Transport practice.

Energy and Climate is the defining political issue of today, and companies must navigate an increasingly complicated policy mix on the path towards reaching Net Zero by 2050. At the same time, industrial policy is back with increasing government interventions, re-shaping the business environment in Europe and beyond. What you will do

  • You will contribute to the implementation of public affairs programmes for multi-market and global accounts by conducting tailored, quality research and analysis
  • You will help the team preparing client material (presentations, policy notes, newsletters)
  • You will attend in-person and online events, reporting back to the team and clients
  • You will present in front of clients (gradually)
  • You will monitor stakeholder events, EU consultations and industry workshops for the team and clients
  • You will interact with a wide network of leading experts that will give you room to grow with gradually increasing responsibilities

 

Who you are

  • You are a (post)graduate student currently completing your master’s degree in courses such as political science, law or economics with a strong European focus
  • You have good understanding of EU policymaking and a true interest in the energy and climate policies
  • You have excellent oral and written communication in English; fluency in German, French or Spanish is a plus
  • You are detail-oriented and dedicated to delivering the highest standards of service
  • You manage multiple issues and deadlines
  • You have an entrepreneurial and creative approach to problem solving
  • You build and maintain trusting relationships
  • You are dynamic, supportive, collaborative and a willing team player
