Europe remains a leader in the global health innovation and the world’s largest development assistance donor. Yet, it needed more support.

In his recent budget proposal, President Trump threatened to cut funding for institutes and organisations that are vital to supporting the research needed to find new vaccines, treatments, and better diagnostic tools that are urgently needed to better fight against these diseases. The Trump administration’s policies and funding priorities would mean a huge decrease in support for international organisations and programmes that are vital for global public health.

Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW), a global health NGO, approached FleishmanHillard looking for support in raising awareness around this issue.

By creating video content that can be shared with the wider EU bubble and beyond, DSW raised awareness of the facts and make investing in Global Health Research the politically easy choice. Using a professional video production team, FleishmanHillard finalised the concept and oversaw execution from A-Z, including casting, choreography, development of collateral, rehearsals, music purchase and licensing, production and post-production.

The end product: an expertly produced stunt and a video that captured it, which allowed DSW to convey its message to relevant EU audiences and beyond.
