Liana Moro joined FleishmanHillard in March 2017 as an account executive in Brussels. Ms. Moro supports the food and health team on a range of issues related to European Union food, health and consumer affairs policy. Before joining FleishmanHillard, Ms. Moro worked as a programme officer at UNAIDS in Nairobi, Kenya. In this role, she provided technical support to the Kenyan government in compiling and analysing HIV/AIDS data to inform political advocacy, policy strategies and communication. She also worked as a trainee at the European Centre for Disease Control in Stockholm, supporting the European Commission’s health assessment of Ukraine. She has also completed internships in public affairs and public relations at Nike in Brussels and at L’Oréal in Milan. Ms. Moro studied politics with international relations at the University of Bath. She holds a master’s degree in international public policy from University College London. Ms. Moro is a native English and Italian speaker, with an advanced knowledge of French and Spanish.
